COURSE

The 72 mile ride starts and finishes at Holicong Middle School, and travels through many Bucks County rural townships.  The route passes through farmland, past pre-revolutionary houses, and small towns such as Carversville.

All of the roads are maintained public roads. There are 24 sections of dirt, gravel, and hardscrabble roads, which comprise approximately 23% of the course.  Everything is perfectly suitable for standard road bikes, but we suggest tires wider than 23 mm to increase comfort, improve traction, and to reduce the possibility of punctures.  Total elevation gain is ca 5400'.

While we have a mass start, everyone is welcome to ride at their own pace.  This is a ride, and not a race, and the roads are open to normal vehicular traffic, so you are expected to obey all rules of the road.

The courses will be marked, and cue sheets will be available for download and printing by the participant.  Links to GPS Data, and Cue Sheets will be emailed to all pre-registered riders in the days prior to the event.

The course does not fit nicely on a single page course map, so please view the course via the link above.

The organizers provide one stocked “feed zone” where you can stop, take on food and beverage.
